ITINERARY 05 NIGHTS / 06 DAYS

DAY 01: ARRIVAL NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORT - GANGTOK

On arrival at the NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport you will be cordially invited by our representative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (130 km). Overnight stay is arranged at the hotel.

 DAY 02: GANGTOK

Spend the day visiting Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom and the Flower Show. Overnight stay is arranged at the hotel.

 DAY 03: GANGTOK

Start the day with a trip to Tsomgo (departure in the morning) - located at a height of 3,780 meters with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the lake will soothe your tired muscles for sure. (You can also visit Nathula Pass, which is subjected to permission and a supplementary cost).  Back to Gangtok and overnight stay is at the hotel.

DAY 04: GANGTOK - DARJEELING

Transfer to Darjeeling (115 km). Overnight stay is at the hotel.

 DAY 05: DARJEELING

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). Visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop on the way back. Post-breakfast, go for a half-day sightseeing of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) and Tea Estate. Spend the afternoon visiting the Rock Garden and Ganga Maya Lake. Overnight stay is arranged at the hotel.

DAY 06: DARJEELING - NJP STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

Today transfer to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (100 km - 3 hr) for your onwards connection / journey.
