Responsible tourism

Responsible tourism is a wisely designed plan to make avail of ‘necessary help’ from the visitors to the visited. Primarily it is aimed at travelers who are prepared to co-operate with charity promotion.
An apt example of this plan is the active involvement of a French team in the construction of an extension to the Reena Memorial Society in Cochin, for children with different abilities, costing approximately Rs.30 lakhs.
Plan to provide training for the Auto Rickshaw drivers, jointly with the Department of Tourism and distinct administrations.
Initiating various NGO’s in Kerala, to create opportunities to teach English, teach at tribal schools in Wayanad and Idukki and Yoga and Meditation courses in Munnar.

Future plans

Plan to develop an ‘Own Your Cab’ scheme for drivers in Kerala. (A plan to provide 100 free cabs for drivers so that they could develop a source of income).
