  • Itinerary:

     

    Delhi – Mandawa – Bikaner – Jaisalmer – Jodhpur – Udaipur – Pushkar – Jaipur – Agra – Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho – Varanasi – Delhi
     

    Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

    On arrival you will be received by our representative and transferred to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Overnight stay at the hotel will be arranged.
     

    Day 02 : Delhi

    Enjoy a whole day sightseeing tour of different landmarks in Delhi, including the hot spots like Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial, Lotus Temple, Qutab Minar Complex and Humayun's Tomb. Overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel. In the evening enjoy the sound & light show. Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.
     

    Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa


    Morning drive down to Mandawa. On arrival, check in into hotel. Later in the afternoon plan a visit to the palaces & beautiful frescoes. The architectural brilliance of the medieval fort of Mandawa is worth your visit, especially the painted arched gateway ornate with extraordinary carvings. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
     

    Day 04: Mandawa – Bikaner

    In the morning drive down to Nawalgarh, a town renowned for its finest frescoes. Your itinerary here will cover Aath Haveli complex, Anandilal Poddar haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat haveli & Chokhani haveli. Resume your journey to Bikaner, where upon arrival, check in into the hotel. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing. Overnight stay will be arranged in the hotel.
     

    Day 05: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (325 kms 6.5 hrs)

    Morning start your journey to Jaisalmer. On arrival, check into hotel. Spend the entire afternoon at leisure or set out on a local sightseeing tour to feel the city atmosphere. Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.
     

    Day 06: Jaisalmer 

    Enjoy a guided city tour including places such as Jaisalmer Fort that put on display an array of stunning structures and monuments of the bygone era. Your itinerary will also cover Megh Durbar & various temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon–Ki-Haveli – a few among the most beautiful mansions carved out in stone and ornate with lattice work.  Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.
     

    Day 07: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

    In the morning start your journey to Jodhpur. On arrival, check in into hotel. Set out on a full day sightseeing tour at Mehrangarh fort – one of the largest of its kind in India rich in architectural splendor. There are another dozen or more of such palaces worth visiting, all matchless in their beauty ornate with intricately carvings. Relax in the evening and enjoy overnight at the hotel.
     

    Day 08: Jodhpur – Udaipur


    Drive down to Udaipur in the morning and visit Ranakpur temples on the way. On arrival, check into Lake Palace. Spend the evening strolling along the local bazaar to get the feel of the place. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
     

    Day 09: Udaipur

    Set out on a city tour of Udaipur, including sightseeing attractions like Saheliyon–Ki–Bari – a beautifully landscaped garden built for the maids of the queen, Jagdish temple – a structure depicting Indo-Aryan style of architecture, City Palace – situated alongside Lake Pichola  and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (the museum for Indian folk arts). In the evening enjoy a leisurely boat ride at Lake Pichola. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
     

    Day 10: Udaipur – Pushkar

    Start off your journey to Pushkar and on arrival check in into hotel. Relax for the rest of the day or indulge in independent leisure activities. Overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel
     

    Day 11: Pushkar – Jaipur


    Enjoy a guided city tour including the places of interests such as Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple, Apteshwar Mahadeo Temple, Dargah of Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chishti etc. On arrival, and check in into hotel. Overnight will be arranged there.
     

    Day 12: Jaipur

    Morning enjoy the excursion to Amber Fort, and enjoy the joy ride on elephant back. Later in the evening indulge in sightseeing in places like the City Palace – a true architectural splendor, Royal Observatory, the local bazaar etc. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
     

    Day 13: Jaipur – Agra


    Morning drive down to Agra, on the way dropping in at visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Old Deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) Jama Masjid, The Buland Darwaza,  Palace of Jodha Bai/Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. On arrival, check in into hotel and take a leisure stroll to enjoy the city atmosphere. Overnight stay at the hotel.
     

    Day 14: Agra – Jhansi – (Day train Bhopal Shatabdi Dep 0817 hrs Arr 1043 hrs) – Khajuraho 

    After a refreshing breakfast, get dropped at the railway station to board the train to Jhansi. Upon arrival our representatives will assist you and will transfer you to Orchha. Orchha, a medieval town still exuding its old-world charm, has so much to entice a tourist – imposing edifices, palaces, temples decked with mural paintings and more. After lunch proceed to Khajuraho (170 kms/ 4 hrs). Khajuraho, famed for its ancient temples dating back to 1000 A.D. Embellished with divine sculptures, mural paintings and other sorts of temple arts, these structures exude an aura rich with architectural brilliance. Khajuraho gastronomy too maintains the exotic charm – the cuisine here replete with mouth-watering aroma, exotic spices and fabled culinary mysteries. Overnight stay at the hotel
     

    Day 15: Khajuraho – Varanasi 


    Today enjoy city tour of Eastern / Western group of temples which includes Laxmi & Set out on an expedition to explore the unending possibilities of Khajuraho temples – your guided tour will cover both the Eastern / Western group of temples.

    Khajuraho temple complex site attracts international and domestic tourists alike. Temple art here that is so full with structural magnificence, which is so exquisite and intricate, is seldom seen elsewhere. The marvelous craftsmanship of the yesteryear artists have been so delicately captured in stone.

    The Western Group of temples are considered to be the largest and includes some of the imposing monuments built by the ancient Chandela dynasty. Some of the temples worth visiting include the Lakshmana Temple, the Matangesvara Temple, the Varaha Temple, the Visvanatha and Nandi temples.

    The Eastern Group of temples are a consortium of five detached sub-groups scattered across the modern Khajuraho. These include the Brahmanical temples and a group of Jain temples.

    Later in the evening get dropped at the airport to board your flight to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi, check into a hotel.
     

    Day 16: Varanasi 


    Spend your morning cruising along River Ganges, and later visit the Buddhist town of Sarnath – considered sacred for Buddha worshipers. After lunch, set out on a city tour of Varanasi –visiting places like Alamgir Mosque or Beni Madhav Ka Darera, Dasaswamedh Ghat, & The Bharat Mata Temple. Return to hotel for an overnight stay
     

    Day 17: Varanasi – Delhi (fly) 


    Morning proceed to airport to board your flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi check into a hotel.
     

    Day 18: Delhi = Departure Transfer 


    Morning get dropped at Delhi International airport for your flight back; by now you would have built an affinity to keep visiting India, the land of extremes!
